Town Lake Park Stocked with Bass
NC Fish & Wildlife just helped out Pittsboro Parks and stocked 300 Large Mouth Bass fingerlings in Town Lake Park. More fish will be stocked next year. They're probably this size now:
But someday they'll look like this and hopefully be more careful around ospreys than this fellow:
I think that hunting and fishing licenses help fund a lot of the great work that Fish and Wildlife does, so do the right thing. . . The lifetime licenses are still a great deal.

The collaboration of the two group (the NC Fish & Wildlife and Pittsboro Park management) was a great deal for the park's future fund. By the way, the picture of the bird and fish is awesome.
